Tell Congress to Repeal the Unconstitutional National Defense Authorization Act
The National Defense Authorization act allows the U.S government to arrest and indefinitely detain anybody (citizen or not) based on the accusation that they are a terrorist. It violates the fourth, fifth and sixth amendments and turns the whole world into a battlefield thus allowing the government to declare anyone they dislike an enemy combatant. This is a draconian piece of legislation and it needs to be destroyed. My petition seeks to repeal this unconstitutional act. Please, for the sake of your self and your loved ones, sign this petition and circulate it to everybody you know.
Hopeful for change, Phillip A. Bianco
I just signed the following petition addressed to you and your fellow legislators.
I signed this petition because the National Defense Authorization Act that you and your colleagues passed is unconstitutional. It violates the fourth, fifth and sixth amendments by giving the government the power to arrest and indefinitely detain U.S citizens and non-citizens, without a trial, based on the accusation that they are terrorists. It also sets a dangerous precedent for constitutional violations in the future. This act does nothing to make the American people safer. It gives the government more unnecessary and unjustifiable power. I ask you and your fellow members of congress to repel this atrocious law immediately in the name of liberty and everything that the founding fathers of this country fought for. Thank you for your time.
With hope for my freedom,
