When doctors are murdered for practicing medicine, something has to change.

Congress has to speak out against Dr. Tiller's murder.

PRCH is working with Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) on a resolution that offers condolences to Dr. Tiller's family and decries the use of violence.

But this resolution is only a first step. To keep our country's reproductive health care providers safe, the marginalization of their services must stop.

As Congress works to reform the health care system, they need to remember that reproductive health care is basic health care for women. Any reform must guarantee access to comprehensive reproductive health care to keep women and families well.
