After a British Petroleum oil rig exploded on April 21, 2009 (http://tinyurl.com/28dld34), 11 people are presumed dead... over a hundred people needed to be evacuated... and as much as 42,000 gallons of oil are being leaked into the Gulf each day (http://www.wafb.com/Global/story.asp?S=12354056).
It's time for our government to hold corporations accountable for loss of life, rescue and recovery operations and environmental impact due to failure on their part. Join with me in telling our government leaders to hold British Petroleum responsible and make the corporation pay for the rescue and recovery costs and the cost of cleanup. Maybe if corporations are held responsible; they will become responsible.
