The cost of prepaid data is overpriced. For not even 1GB of data, it costs over R30. People who have an average income and no mobile contract with a set amount of data spend loads of money on a monthly basis just to ensure they have data.

The costs of data should be reduced to a more reasonable rate as some adults and teenagers only have a limited amount of money to spare per month and it can't all always be used up to buy data or airtime. Those who have a low income usually stay without airtime or data, preventing them from socializing with their friends and family. 

The cost of a cellphone is already high enough. The cost of data shouldn't even be something network users should be complaining about. #lowerdatacosts
