We would like Telford ice rink to do more for people with disabilities in the community

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

Hi we're trying to start running a ice hockey training program for children and adults from the age of 5 years old up to 25 years of age with developmental/learning disabilities who are able to walk unaided. Including autistic spectrum disorders,Down syndrome, Attention deficit disorder, And other learning disabilities. The problem is the Telford ice rink are saying they are unable to provide us with the ice time we require. Which would be on a Sunday ideally. The rink runs three skating sessions one in the morning, one in the afternoon and night one. We don't see why we couldn't have one of those slots as there all not really that busy. And it would really benefit the disabled community who who wouldn't be able to attend at peak times offer wise. We have already over a 100 families from all over Shropshire waiting to sign up if the ice time comes available. So please help us make this happen.
