Revise Southwater development plans and keep the "Green Patch" in the centre as open land.

Following a discussion on the Facebook Group "TelfordLive" many contributors felt that to build apartments and shops on this small piece of land would ruin the feel of the development making it feel "claustrophobic"
This area could be used for community purposes to encourage people to meet in the area and make the town centre feel more welcoming. There is currently no need for extra shops in the area as this is served well by the Telford Shopping Centre.
Other suggestions include moving the Telford sign to the location so it could serve as a landmark.
Keeping this area clear could allow the wider community to make it their and give the development character.
So rather than build on this small parcel of land why not leave it clear.
