We the undersigned are writing to voice our disapproval for the fencing off of community assets in Priorslee.

The asset in question is two football pitch sized grass areas which are used by the local community in the area next to Holy Trinity Secondary School. This community asset predates the building of the school by decades. This has been used by the community and therefore should not be taken by the school and fenced off from community use.

The access point to the school was also raised as an issue during the school's initial planning but these issues which were raised by the community were ignored. The council have recently installed yellow lines outside of houses on Teece Drive and Pitchford Drive despite the homeowners not being consulted on this issue. A request was made for red lines (meaning that people could not park there during school times) or the use of permits for residents so that they were able to park outside their homes.

The lack of a school spaces in Priorslee is an issue due to the expanding population in the area due to the recent housing developments means that a more suitable and viable alternative must be considered for the people of Priorslee.
