Give TUDublin Class of 2021 an In-Person Graduation Ceremony

Give TUDublin Class of 2021 an In-Person Graduation Ceremony

Recently, TUDublin students were made aware by the Exams Office that graduates from the Class of 2021 will have an online/virtual-fashioned graduation in October of 2021 due to the pandemic of Covid-19.
This announcement comes with great disappointment to the students, their families, and alumni as the change in restrictions from October 22nd 2021 clearly state that: *"Restrictions on numbers that can attend events no longer apply, including: Indoor and outdoor events and activities".
Understandably, we are hurt, disappointed, and want to have a say in this decision that has been made by the President's Group and Graduation Committee. The significance of our graduation ceremony cannot be overstated as it represents our journey and all of our hard work. If other universities can have an in-person graduation ceremony carried out, so can TUDublin.
At the end of what has been an extremely difficult final year, please sign this petition if you would like to make a difference in determining whether or not TUDublin has the in-person ceremony we all deserve.
