The undersigned voting Union Members hereby petition the Board of Directors to allow both Andrew Rios (Union Steward) and Greg DeFranco (Safety Co-Chair) to remain in their current roles within the Union. These representatives have successfully served for a combined 10 years.

Andrew and Greg are great communicators with the ability and willingness to give thier undivided attention to each individual case presented to them while remaining neutral. They are positive, motivated, enthusiastic and have consistently proven to be energized supporters of those they represent and the Union. Remaining organized as they work to help develop safe work practices, staying on top of concerns expressed by their co-workers while identifing potential hazards to mitgate risk has been a primary focus of the Saftey Co-Chair, Greg. Their diligence in serveing within these roles has been unwavering.

Recent events regarding Social Media content expressed on a personal platform 6 years ago has led to a select few Union Members questioning the charater of these representatives as well as their ability to server within the roles. The perception gathered from this content indicated these members expressed racisim towards a fellow co-worker. After multiple conversations with the indivuiduals involved it was evident that the content in question was an expression of brotherhood. The persons involved felt there was no bullying or racisim associated to the content.
