W B started this petition to Teachers schools parents

There are a lot of race and inequality topics discussed today on every social media site and news channel. I even saw an elementary school report discussing the theory of a white privilege in America. As a father I would never want anyone to discourage my children by saying "life might be harder" or "they might get treated differently because of the color of their skin". How would you feel if you were a child and someone told you " life might be harder for you" or "you might get treated unfairly" because of your color ? Wouldn't that make you feel sad, discouraged, jealous even angry ? This discouragement could possibly stick with them forever. it could make them feel like not even bothering to try or even giving them the feeling that Everytime something negative happened it was because of their color. Why are we telling children such discouraging things? I am a third generation Hispanic I have owned my own business for nearly twenty years now. I was raised by a single mother that always encouraged me to finish school. I had a father that I saw on weekends that always told me with a little hard work I could accomplish anything. With those thoughts in mind I have always felt like I could be anything or start any business in America.

I would like teachers and the media to stop teaching children this white privilege theory. in turn teach every child that with a little work and effort they can do and be anything they want to be in America.
