Well-designed school restrooms can enhance student health, deter misbehavior, and conserve resources.
The restrooms or comfort room, and what goes on in there, are subjects that cause many people discomfort or embarrassment. In our culture, we recognize the need for toilets and urinals and have many occasions to be grateful they are readily available in public spaces, but the prevailing attitude is the less said about them, the better.
The result is that comfort room don’t always receive the attention they require. Cleaning and maintenance schedules may not be sufficient to get rid of grime and unpleasant odors. In schools, where hundreds of students a day may use a bathroom, this can lead to facilities that are breeding grounds for germs and disease, and that provide opportunities for bullying and vandalism. Some students may decide to endure physical discomfort rather than take a step into such an unsafe and unsanitary place, and they may find it difficult to concentrate on their school work.

Since we, Senior high school students in Sibonga National High School. We have noticed that our comfort rooms are experiencing the same thing. So we decided to propose some ideas and solutions. We suggest that we should start on practicing proper sanitation by providing proper sanitary needs in every comfort room in Sibonga NHS. We want to have tissues and bidets in each cubicle, some hand soaps or sanitizer. We want to start on maintaining safe and clean comfort rooms .Most of us knows how proper hygiene is very important, we should be concerned when it comes to our health and take care of ourselves as soon as possible for us to prevent certain diseases that we can get.
