Us kids, feel like we are getting to much work. It is hard to want to be a kid but feel like you’re doing nothing but homework. We only worry about getting our homework done and if we are going to pass a class or not. We are worried about As dropping to Bs, even though that’s above average. With friends all we can talk about is school, “did you do that classes homework yet?” “what did you get on that test” “I failed that test so badly” And if we are out with friends I don’t think we should be thinking that at all rather just having fun with them. As much as we care about our grades, we want to also be able to live our lives. With covid we haven’t seen most of our friends since 3 years ago. We want to catch and make up for the memories we couldn’t have. We feel like crying everyday and wanting to give up. It’s taking a toll on our mental health. Some of us have other problems to handle, we have editing disorders, we have depression, we have anxiety. And then adding stress just from school? Don’t forget the feeling of wanting to make our parents happy, to make it far in life, to succeed at sports. We get the work done somehow but at what cost? We cant do 4 assignments that are due the next day for one class and also balance all of our other classes and hobbies outside of school. We cant focus every second of our lives into school, we want to have fun, we are teens. We get the teachers are trying to make us better, smarter beings but it really takes a toll on our mental health. That’s why we have a care center no? Cause mental health is important? It all hometsly adds up to the point we cant do it anymore
