We all have biases, even if we don't realize it. We would like to teach people how to recognize their bias and the bias of the ones around them. Signing this petition is advocating for a module to be created and sent out to all University of South Carolina students, similar to the alcohol and sexual harassment education modules. By signing this petition, you are agreeing that this module be required for all students. If people don't recognize their biases, it makes for an unenjoyable learning environment for others. This module will help students fight against intolerance by educating them in what the more subtle forms look like.
