Apple announces "We will [do better] in the coming weeks"
Dec 2, 2011 — A spokesperson for Apple announced: “These are not intentional omissions meant to offend anyone. It simply means that as we bring Siri from beta to a final product, we find places where we can do better, and we will in the coming weeks.”
This good news, though, only makes our petition MORE important. Apple is telling us that they're still developing Siri and her functionalities, and we need to make a very clear statement that this should be a priority for them. Siri has lots of quirks (she has trouble understanding different accents, for example) that Apple will be working on, and we want to make sure that enhancing Siri's knowledge of reproductive health services and rape and domestic violence resources is high on their list.
Please keep sharing the petition and encouraging others to sign!
