Tdsb staff, who do not wish to get vaccinated, will be placed on a leave without pay starting on November 21st, despite the fact that in lieu of getting vaccinated, they have to show 3 negative covid tests each week in order to be in their schools. This will mean a shortage of up to 4000 teachers and education workers in the Tdsb. Do you really want a slew of supply teachers in your child's classroom? Say NO to the Tdsb vaccine mandate! Unvaccinated teachers pose no risk to fellow staff or students. In fact, they are the only people in the school who are rigorously tested and know with certainty that they are not infected. These measures are unnecessary and unethical. There is no need for further disruption to our children's education. We have already lost too much!
