On the 26th of February 2020, we were informed without consultation that all Stroke patients in ambulances from Meath are now directed away from Navan Hospital towards Drogheda/Beaumont or other Hospitals. On the 1st of March 2020, we were informed that the HSE intend to reduce the Navan A&E from a 24 hour service (as it exists today) by 12 hours per day by the end of 2020. Navan A&E performs a vital service to the 200,000 people living within its catchment area.  Please sign the petition to demonstrate your demand to keep these services in Navan.

This country is already in a Health crises, with upwards of 600-700 trolleys in corridors on a daily basis.  It is already under prepared for the Corona virus epidemic coming our way.  We can't afford to give up the A&E services or the ICU beds in Navan. Patients (including family members and loved ones) are going to die to support bean counters in Dublin 4.
