Holmes is seeking more than $75,000 in damages related to a fall inside the Wal-Mart Superstore.  According to court records, Holmes began legal proceedings against Wal-Mart in August, sued Jackson Auto Sales in 2013, Robert Riley in 2011 and Tech World in 2007. She also sued her former employer, IBM in federal court in 2005. -Mid Hudson Times Jan 2017

WE pay Councilwoman Cindy Holmes’s salary.

WE pay her health insurance.

WE pay to send her to conferences.

WE pay for her iPad.

WE pay for her retirement.

And now WE have to pay for her lawsuit AGAINST US!

Dear Councilwoman Holmes,

Our taxes are too high! We cannot afford your lawsuit. Please drop it.  Or resign from the City Council. We should not have to pay your salary while you are suing us.
