For a middle class salaried person in India, he/she pays income tax directly to government every year. This income tax slab is from 10 % to 30% and directly gets deducted from his/her salary every month. Moreover, this middle class person who has already paid a huge portion of his salary as a tax, pays plenty of other taxes such as if travels by car, he pays the toll tax, road tax. If he purchases any items he pays GST on it and pays many more taxes to government. 

This is really unfair with a middle class salaried person, who doesn't hide his income, has only one source of income and does not get any relief from tax or discounts/benefits from any of the government policies. However, the businessman who are earning in crores they show fake accounts and enormous bogus expenses to save the taxes. Many of them even don't pay the taxes to government and if they pay GST to the government, they collect it from the customers only.

My request is that, the middle class salaried person who is an honest tax payer, pays many other direct and indirect taxes is burdened by this tax policies. Why cant government have a one tax policy or provide some exemptions/discounts to the tax payers who fall in middle class category. Please provide some exemptions, benefits or discounts to these honest tax payers to encourage more people to pay their taxes. This kind of gesture will improve middle class people's trust in government. Also it will attract more people to come forward and pay the tax to government.
