• December 10th 2020. I was hit by a drunk driver. I have 4 damaged disc in my back, torn disc in my neck.  Has been 8 months and no pain meds. Every day is pain and zero quality of life. Having to go through months of treatments that will not do anything (per neurosurgeon) before neurosurgeon can sign off on my surgeries. Neck is ready and won't do surgery until back has reached a "conservative approach limit" to satisfy insurance. Pain management makes you sign contract, rely on him and refuses to practice pain meds. All because junkies have abused opiates in the past. Meanwhile, people like me get zero relief. I now see why suicide is high with people in pain and no relief.  This needs to change. Doctors should not leave us suffering over fears that government will get involved. 

Please sign this. It will not go far. it will not change anything, I'm sure. I know I am not the only person suffering without meds for pain.  Our options are, suffer, suicide or be a criminal and get them illegally.
