Craig Stone started this petition to Tarrant County Commissioners
There is a small misguided few of who want to remove and dishonor the men who went off to war in defense of thier state. By removing a marker placed at the Tarrant County Courthouse.

That marker honors those men who sacrificed theirs lives in service to the state of Texas and Tarrant County in particular. The men that marker represents are veterans. Please allow the marker to remain where it is and allow the citizens of Tarrant County to continue to remember the men.

I started this petition because...
Tarrant County was built by men who were called into service by Texas. Many did not return, and the ones that did return after the war helped build not only Ft Worth but the surrounding communities as well. Both Arlington and Grapevine to name a couple. These men deserve our thanks and respect for both thier service and their accomplishments. Please leave the marker in place.
