With the current injustices that have surrounded tragic outcome and outrage, I wish to implement a law that holds police brutality accountable to the fullest extent. Unfortunately history has demonstrated the justice system not holding law enforcement accountable in a judicious manner. “The law cannot make a man love me, but it can restrain him from lynching me” is quoted by Martin Luther King Jr. back in 1966.  Police officers are under oath to save lives, protect, and uphold the law with moral standard. If this offense is suspected or furthermore captured with evident material, investigation and arrest should be immediate as any other civilian committed crime. Additionally, convictions should be that much more severe for the sake of justice, and dishonor to the badge. If one takes a life like that of George Floyd for example, that officer in turn should serve life in prison. Additionally any law enforcement accomplices involved should receive convictions that would represent a stance of justification. Examples must be made of these individuals for lawful and prevention tactic, of those who choose to abuse their power. Their duty is to enforce the law in which they use as advantage to defy.
