We need to get Australian Manufacturing up and running again so that we can  once again be self sufficient when world events affect our great nation. If the major department stores  just start small and have an 'Australian Made' section we can slowly build our manufacturing industry back up. As consumers we need to pay a little more as Aussie workers have better conditions than the international sweat shops. If we just pay more for good home grown quality and buy less junk we can do this. Ask for quality Australian Made products and Australian grown produce that we know is grown under strict health guidelines. Stop buying cheap imports and get jobs back in Australia. We need onshore call centres reemploying out of work Australians. Demand medical needs be manufactured right here on home soil. Keep our future secure. Let's try and buy Australian Made goods as often as possible then the retail industry will finally get the idea we are serious. With the frightening world events this has shown us as a nation we need to look after each other and support our industry. We also need clear labelling telling us exactly where goods come from think the cases of listeria with frozen berries being contaminated. Support our farmers they are the backbone of our land if you can buy direct do so it's time we stop chasing the big overseas dollar and start being smart looking after our own.
