I have seen a lot of post about people saying they can not chose virtual due to the rise of Covid cases in our parish. The school board is saying they will not budge on this. Telling parents drop there children from public school and homeschool. Which is a option but not all homeschool programs are free. 
  What if your in the middle of quarantine and are unable to go out get uniforms and supplies for school. This is what some parents was told I’m sorry but there is nothing we can do. So what happens next your in trouble for truancy. So the parents are in trouble for trying to do the right thing? Parents are being told they had to June to chose, in June Covid numbers was down. Parents are being told virtual classes are full. Which I’m not sure how that would be possible. 
 Some parents would rather the children not wear a mask all day. That’s there choice. Some parents don’t mind there children wearing a mask. That’s there choice. Some parents prefer there children in classroom. That’s there choice. Some parents would rather virtual. That’s there choice. So no one should force a parents choice. 
  So everyone please come together no matter if you want your children wearing a mask and in the classroom learning, help the parents who want a different choice for there children. I hope that if enough people sign this petition it will help.
