It has come to the attention of many motorists in Singapore that petrol companies, even as they are making profit, are taking advantage of the Ukraine situation and increasing their prices at a significant rate (from previously a few cents to more more than 10 cents currently) freely without any justification and accountability. It is even more absurd that as oil prices dropped on 10 March, they are still increasing prices instead of lowering them. 

While we have a competition watchdog - the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore, and Minister Tan See Leng who are currently monitoring the situation, it is all NATO so far. Let your voice be heard and exert pressure on the authorities and government to clamp down hard on these simply unethical business practices!
