After doing research within our school, we have found that 76.2% of students from Year 8 - 11 said that they would benefit from sanitary products being available in the toilets. Although they are already offered in the reception when asked for, some people may find this an embarrassing thing to ask for making them not ask at all.
This would also benefit those who cannot afford to buy sanitary products. From our survey we found out that 14.3% of people have had to miss school from a lack of period products available to them.
Our aim is to have sanitary products not only available in our school toilets, but many across the UK.
