The Mansion is a sacred place to me and I want to see it preserved. As a young girl, I spent many hours there with the Sisters, eating supper, drinking sun tea, and sitting on the front porch listening to stories. In those days, I couldn't wait to grow up to become a Holy Cross Sister. While my life eventually took a different path, the Sisters, the Convent (Bell Tower) and the Mansion remain in my heart. Please don't destroy it. Some things should stay the same for always. This is one of them.

I'm signing because my hometown is Merrill. That building is history! Keep history going. Repair and restore STOP tearing old buildings down.

It's a beautiful piece of history for Merrill. TB Scott built this and it needs to be preserved at all costs.
