The Hydrocarbon plant in Pudukottai, Tamilnadu
This petition had 10 supporters
The central government approved a private company to install a hydrocarbon plant at Pudukottai of Tamilnadu. The plant will bore more than 2000 feet underground for taking the gases of hydrocarbons. They are mainly methane. You may know about the banned Methane plant at Tanjore. In Pudukottai it was the same plant but the organisers were telling people it as a hydrocarbon plant which will not affect the land and people. It wasn't true, it was the same methane plant. In India the first plant was planned to be installed in Tamilnadu. From this thing we should be aware. We people should not allow such things. Politicians won't look forward. This plant will change the good fertile agricultural lands of cauvery delta plain to dry desert area. The cauvery delta is the feeding hand of Tamilnadu. If this plant runs, we will suffer a lot.
