Aug 4, 2013 — The Nolambur police have filed a FIR against members of the Association, A Ramamurthy, M Venkatraman, Govindarajan and Senthil Kumar under Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty Act.However, Blue Cross of India (BCI) officials who took up the case with the police are unhappy, saying that their original complaint has been diluted.

“We have also filed a complaint seeking an FIR under sections 428 and 419 of the Indian Penal Code, which was not taken into consideration,” said BCI general manager Dawn Williams. Police are continuing with their investigation to locate the spot where the dogs could’ve been buried.
