For more than 10 years, residents in Muttakulam are subjected to high volumes of sound played for more than 8  hours daily. The religious temples and churches are responsible for this. 

There are elders and youngsters who have high blood pressure as a result of this. And also many are facing the severe ill-effects of noise pollution such as vertigo, nausea and headaches.

No matter how many times we complained to the local police, there is no action against this attrocious behaviour. So we request all citizens to unite in signing this petition addressed to the Tamil Nadu Police and also the district collector for Kanyakumari so as to end this issue of noise pollution.
