Parking for parents of children at Inspire Academy has always been a challenge but it has become increasingly difficult as the school has grown to full capacity. Being so close to a hospital also means that most of the surrounding streets are residents parking only.

By making the waste land at the back of the hospital a paid car park you have forced the hospital staff to park on the main road leaving no spaces for parents of Inspire children and as a result people are parking recklessly on yellow lines, zig zag lines blocking the view at crossings and junctions and even parking across personal driveways.

This carpark is mostly empty every day and at £1.80 minimum fee is too much for parents to use to drop/pick kids up. By offering free parking for 15 - 20 minutes you could potentially save a child's life and make the road much safer for pedestrians and road users.
