Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 had an amazing singleplayer story and experience. However, even despite clamoring with Rockstar that they want more singleplayer DLC a-la Undead Nightmare, they have clearly stated they have no plans to expand the singleplayer. This is immensely disappointing, especially because their reasons are obviously centered around money. The problem arises in that the massive cash-cow that Grand Theft Auto V provided is not even remotely the same experience with Red Dead Redemption 2. There are those of us who wish to continue to enjoy the singleplayer and the content it has to offer, without having to deal with tedious grinds (which was a problem in GTAO), toxic playerbase (also a massive issue in GTAO) and hackers (a continuous problem plaguing the still-active GTAO). The world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is far more enamoring than that of Grand Theft Auto. It's dark, it's gritty, and horrifically violent, centered around very strong themes of redemption and brotherhood. Rockstar should expand on the singleplayer content, at the very least, with new weapons or bounties- something that shows us that they still care about their players and not just money. If their objective is still money, there is so much to be had even with making a second Undead Nightmare, or separate stories for characters like Charles or Sadie Adler. I would rather enjoy RDR2 alone, rather than have more microtransactions shoved in my face, and with players constantly ruining my fun- and continue to explore the rich world in singleplayer, but there is only so much fun to be had if none of it is expanded on. I have far more emotional attachment to the singleplayer chronicles of RDR2 than I did with GTA V, which is partially why I was happy to play online, and to just toss these characters they've created to the wayside and push more and more multiplayer content on us is an injustice.
