In the midst of the ailing economy and the devastating coronavirus, Takealot company is only interested in generating lucrative profits out of pure explotaion. It is a shame to frustrated and poor drivers who use their resources (airtime, data, vehicles and motorcycles) to help Takealot generate billions of rands while they almost harvest nothing in commission. They are always at risk. They survive by chance as criminals hunt for them day and night, with their claws all out to scratch the poor persons for what honestly belongs to Takealot, yet the company doesn't care at all. 

It deeply hurts to know that the voiceless, loyal, committed and dedicated Takealot drivers who use their cars, who service them from their impoverished pockets, who fill fuel from their pockets, and purchase data and airtime from their pockets in order to perform their duties, earn almost nothing in return. Almost every cent goes back as part of the expenditure to carry out the duty of being messengers/drivers.

It is a shame that these drivers lose almost every cent which they toiled for in about 14 hours a day through ensuring the availability of key resources without which the delivery service becomes utterly impossible. Yet takealot feels no pain for enslaving or exploiting them.
