The aspiring students of NEET/JEE Exams had already experienced two rounds of postponements since April/May. The slippages were undesirable considering the significance of these single window Exams. NEET or JEE are designed to secure entry to a premium Government Medical or Technology college of India, respectively.

Past postponements are already affecting the mental health of meritorious students and subjecting them to depression. The parents are also anxious considering the health and future prospect of their children. 

Ministry of HRD has now announced new dates in the month of September-2020. However, there are already filthy attempts by a section, to further delay the exams. Any more delay can subject students to loss of an academic year. It would also open the door for many corrupt players to fish in troubled waters and demand hefty amount from parents against a seat in some private colleges. The chaos would impact the economically backward students most. We fear that this can lead to several collateral damage. Ministry of HRD, seems to be perplexed and we need to support through our voices, for a bold decision making against any further slippage of Exam dates.

We are pushed to the wall. If business, political & religious gatherings can all happen amidst Covid-19 conditions, why NOT allow NEET/JEE with planned precautionary measures and logistics support? As an Human, does the pain of so many students affect you? Won't you let these NextGen and Merit breathe in India?
