Yik Yak has recently surfaced in my hometown, and I have noticed some very inappropriate and disturbing things about this app. This app is unsafe for all, and it promotes cyber-bullying. There are kids at my school being targeted and bullied, and I know this will have many detrimental affects. Please take into consideration what possibilities come with having an app like this. The target audience is teenagers who given the opportunity to say something mean anonymously, will absolutely take it. Understand what the consequences are because this could completely change a kid’s life.

Teens: If you’re aware of these problems and rumours circling around this app and not saying anything, you’re promoting this type of behaviour. The heinous comments on this app will destroy lives if they get out. Help us in taking down the app.
