The Foreclosure Crisis is the greatest threat to everday stability in the nation. Please help me promote a plan to TAKE AMERICA OUT OF FORECLOSURE -- a permanent ban on primary residence foreclosures (only primary residences). Its not a Free Pass, but a plan to create mechanisms, including forbearance, revolving credit options (tacking to the back end of the loan in extenuating economic circumstances), and credit insurance. Please consider signing and sharing, as when you do your message goes to the President, your Representative, and your two Senators -- we need to start breaking the news to them that this can't go on.

It's wrong to throw people out of their homes when they are already victims of economic rape, medical bankruptcy, job loss and misfortune. Legislate an immediate moratorium on the foreclosure of any PRIMARY RESIDENCE, and develop mechanisms for the future that insure homeowners (with or without mortgages) can weather the storms of the economy with some minimum measure of (social) security.

‎435 signatures, one from every Congressional District in the nation, gets this idea around the block ONE time. Please be the first in your District to Sign and Share.

When the Banksters understand that they cannot prey on hardworking Americans, and then simply steal their homes, they will be more diligent in producing financial instruments that meet the need, instead of satisfying their boundless greed.

Revolving credit, and credit insurance are just two mechanisms that can be built into the mortgage system to provide a bridge for mortgagees who find themselves in extenuating financial situations to defer and/or reduce payments through difficult times which may be out of their control.

AN ACT OF FORBEARANCE

We the People, undersigned, do hereby petition the Congress to implement an IMMEDIATE MORATORIUM ON ALL FORECLOSURES OF PRIMARY RESIDENCES, and to craft legislation to offer permanent solutions to prevent future foreclosures of PRIMARY RESIDENCES.
