Louisiana has one of the highest murder rates in the United States, and a 13 year old girl was shot in the back, plus many more. As of 2022, more than 20 people have died in Caddo Parish. People are being shot and killed in their homes, their cars, even in their workplaces. This affects the entirety of Lousisana because everyone is at risk of being killed, from the youngest of infants to the oldest of elders.
