Please sign this petition to support Tahoe Forest Hospital to permit a nice plaque in memory of Dr. James R. Ungar for his family, friends, and co-workers to remember him and for passerby’s to stop and read about him, his service, and his heroic actions.

Dr. James R. Ungar lost his life in 2012 in a plane crash while on a humanitarian mission to Mexico to administer free health care to those in need. He dedicated his efforts through Los Medicos Voladores, The Flying Doctors who vowed to dedicate the clinic in Mexico in his honor after his passing. Unfortunately, this promise was unfulfilled and no such dedication was ever made.
