In regards to the posts of a “service” bull terrier being paraded around I believe it is time to stop letting animals into loud venues. This puts the animal at harms risk (Random objects on the ground, loud music, drugged up people touching the dog while it’s on duty). I understand people have a use for service dogs, they should be allowed for any day to day activity restaurants, stores, even airplanes (if that’s how you live your life), but a concert is about enjoyment. In what way would the dog enjoy being around that loud of a crowd? If you didn’t know dogs have much more sensitive hearing than us. How would you like it if someone was blowing a whistle directly into your ear? Venues themselves don’t have the power to disallow service animals due to ADA laws, but that doesn’t mean we can’t share some knowledge.
