Mae yna bobl wedi bod ar y rhestr tai efo’r cyngor yn gwitiad blynyddoedd a blynyddoedd i gael eiddo gan yr cyngor. Rhai 6+ o flynydoedd! 

Mae’r deiseb yma yn gofyn i’r cyngor i edrych at atebion i’r broblem. 

1.Gallai'r cyngor brynu neu rentu eiddo preifat i'w rentu i denantiaid y cyngor.
2. Gallai'r cyngor adeiladu tŵr mawr o fflatiau sydd angen llai o dir i adeiladu arno o gymharu ag adeiladu eiddo arferol.
3. Rhoi blaenoriaeth i bobl leol a chael gwell diffiniad o beth yw person lleol.
4. Gallai'r cyngor ganiatáu i bobl sydd wedi bod ar y rhestrau aros ers blynyddoedd lawer i godi lefel i fod mewn blaenoriaeth uwch ee o fand 2 i fand 1.

5. Gallai'r cyngor ddod â'r hen system bwyntiau yn ôl yn lle'r band presennol. system e.e. os bydd rhywun ar y rhestr aros am 1 flwyddyn maent yn cael 10 pwynt ac os 2 flynedd maent yn cael 20 pwynt ac os 3 blynedd maent yn cael 30 pwynt ac yn y blaen a po uchaf yw'r pwyntiau y mwyaf o flaenoriaeth ydynt i gael eiddo'r cyngor.
6. Gallai'r cyngor roi cymhelliant i bobl symud i eiddo cyngor arall er mwyn sicrhau bod eiddo eraill y cyngor ar gael i bobl. Byddai’r cymhelliad yn sicrhau na fydd y person sy’n cael ei symud yn waeth ei fyd.
7. Gallai'r cyngor adeiladu meysydd carafanau sefydlog preswyl.
8. Gallai'r cyngor brynu gwestai a throsi'r ystafelloedd yn fflatiau.
9. Gallai'r cyngor roi cymhelliant i landlordiaid yn y farchnad rhentu preifat dderbyn tenantiaid ar fudd-daliadau.
10. Gallai'r llywodraeth roi tir nad yw'n cael ei ddefnyddio i'r cyngor adeiladu tai cyngor.
11. Peidio â chaniatáu i bobl fod yn berchen ar eiddo sydd wedi bod yn wag ers mwy na blwyddyn.

There are people who have been on the housing list with the council for years and years to get a property from the council. Some 6 + years! 

This petition is asking the council to look for solutions to the problem. 

1. The council could buy or rent private property to rent to council tenants.
2. The council could build a large apartment tower which requires less land to build on compared to building a normal property.
3. Give priority to local people and have a better definition of what a local person is.
4. The council could allow people who have been on the waiting lists for many years to raise a level to be in a higher priority eg from band 2 to band 1.
5.The council could bring back the old points system instead the current band. system e.g. if someone is on the waiting list for 1 year they get 10 points and if 2 years they get 20 points and if 3 years they get 30 points and so on and the higher the points the more priority they are to get council property.

6. The council could give people an incentive to move to another council property in order to ensure that the council's other properties are available to people. The incentive would ensure that the person being moved is not worse off.
7. The council could build residential fixed caravan sites.
8. The council could buy hotels and convert the rooms into flats.
9. The council could give an incentive to landlords in the private rental market to accept tenants on benefits.
10. The government could give land that is not being used to the council to build council houses.
11. Not allowing people to own properties that have been empty for more than a year.

The council may have more options.
