Please sign our petition to help us keep the patio that is directly in front of our cafe (Montparnasse on Thackeray Street, just off High Street Kensington) so that our customers and friends are able to continue to enjoy their daily coffee-and-croissants in a beautiful al fresco setting.

So many wonderful and generous people kindly volunteered their time, and skills, to help paint, plant and set up the space in order for it to become what it is today - the heart of a little community in Kensington.

We were unable to have anyone sit inside because of the lockdown restrictions so the patio became a very safe (and as it turns out, beautiful) way for us to continue our independently-owned small business but also provide a place for community spirit to thrive. 

It occupies just one parking space and boasts a beautiful set of plants and flower boxes that add a flourish to the street. It is a real joy to see people get to know each other more through the friendly atmosphere that has been created by a single bit of outdoor space in front of a 20 year-old Kensington staple, Montparnasse Cafe.
