Shannon Haines started this petition to Tabernacle Board of Education

We, the undersigned concerned citizens of Tabernacle, New Jersey, hold no confidence in the current Tabernacle Township School District superintendent, Glenn Robbins.  We believe he should be relieved of his duties as superintendent.  With the pending NJ school budget restraints, it does not make sense to keep a superintendent on the payroll who makes the salary of over two teachers when he has shown that he cares nothing for the children of Tabernacle.

Glenn Robbins has failed to execute his duties as Superintendent of Tabernacle Township Public Schools in good faith and with good result.  He has devalued our teachers and principal, among the most valuable resources of our community, by his actions and statements - calling them NOT A GOOD FIT FOR TABERNACLE.

His haphazard decisions to decimate the elementary school's special education, gifted and talented, and basic skills departments demonstrate fully that Mr. Robbins has no idea how to effectively run a school that puts the needs of children first.  Because he did not follow a fair formula of seniority or certifications to determine layoffs, he is leaving hundreds of children and families without the services they deserve in the coming year. Layoffs due to budget cuts should be fair and respectful.  Instead, Mr. Robbins chose a critically flawed, arbitrary and capricious formula to name Ms. Peter, Ms. Hare and Ms. Brewin "not a good fit" for Tabernacle.
Instead of tweeting pictures of his socks, leadership books, selfies and how empathetic he is, he should have been in the actual elementary school getting to know the teachers and students whose lives he has recklessly destructed.

Furthermore, he continues to make ridiculous recommendations for how the school should be run as he knowingly interviews in other states for new jobs.  To recommend that the beloved Dr. Paterson, who is the heart of Tabernacle Elementary School, lose his job while the business administrator takes a $2,000 raise further exemplifies his ignorance to what is important to the families of Tabernacle.

Since Mr. Robbins has been hired as superintendent, the district has been in decline.  Scores are lower, emphasis on social media is higher, and morale among staff members has bottomed out.  The families of Tabernacle are tired of being manipulated.  To hear over and over again that Tabernacle Schools are empathetic and then to see teachers, principals, and families treated in such a callous way leads the undersigned to demand the resignation of Mr. Glenn Robbins.
