A 124 foot cellphone tower is going to be built near Stringfellow Rd. Park and Ride (4920 Stringfellow Rd, Centreville, VA 20120) near Fair Lakes Crossing homes, and Faircrest homes. This is an area with multiple schools (elementary, middle, and high school), and this can pose a danger not only to our precious children, but also to the numerous animals that live in this area. It is unbelievable that Fairfax County would consider approving an application for a cell tower so close to residential homes, and public schools. Also, this tower will put our property values in danger. There will be severe aesthetic impacts as homes will be subject to a 124 foot cellphone tower view. The tower will be far larger and taller than the trees in the area which will make the tower very visible. This will make many homes in the area much less marketable at any price. Let's all come together to oppose this cell phone tower to make sure it will not come near our residential or public school areas.
