A dedicated police presence in Eastwood

Members of Eastwood are without a dedicated police presence in their community. From vagrants and underage youth roaming the streets, people running stop signs, and increasing crime and incivility , we are in desperate need of a permanent dedicated police patrol in Eastwood. A visible, active police present will make a difference here.

We call upon Mayor Elect Ben Walsh, as soon as he takes office, to assign permanent dedicated police patrols to the Eastwood Neighborhood. We see the blatant disregard for the law and how much it is hurting our neighborhood on a daily basis and demand safety and protection for our community.

Eastwood Major reported crime from April 1 – July 1, 2017:
15 Burglaries, 6 Aggravated Assaults, 51 Larceny, 6 Robberies, 4 Stolen Vehicles and 1 Murder. This does not include people smoking weed and drinking on the corner, intimidating people or running stop signs.
Is this acceptable in the Eastwood Neighborhood?
