Recently, the arms manufacture Raytheon advertised their partnership with the Girl Scouts to promote STEM programs for young girls. These programs merely act as propaganda for these companies to continue profiting from endless war, and the deaths of women abroad. Raytheon bombs specifically have been used recently to murder civilians (including children) in Yemen.
This is not the way to go about empowering young girls. These companies are merchants of death. Over 90% of their revenue comes from our own tax dollars. That's money that could go MUCH further in funding public education if it weren't being wasted on war and executive compensation for those who lobby for it.
Please tell the Girl Scouts that we do not want to see our nation's youth being manipulated into supporting companies that profit from death and destruction.
