It would relief stress from both students and teachers if we had a 4 in person day school week. If this pandemic has taught us anything in the education setting, it's that we traditionally have not done a good job of leveraging the power of technology. There are many resources we can use to maximize learning and support our social emotional health while doing so. With 4 in person day school weeks, teachers can have one day that is completely available for work time, and students can learn asynchronous the 5th day that they are not physically present in school. As long as teachers have a short video and one assignment/check for understand for students to complete on the asynchronous day - learning can continue to happen with some support to our overall stress.
