Clean and hygienic toilets at taxi holding bays in Sydney Airport

Each year about 40 million passengers travel through Sydney Airport, and a significant majority of these passengers use Taxis for traveling to and from Sydney Airport. There has always been huge focus by airport authorities on how to provide best taxi service to these passengers, but very little has ever been thought of providing basic facilities to Taxi drivers at the holding bays, where these taxi drivers wait for hours to get a fare.
Even though we have toilets at both domestic and international airport taxi holding bays, they are hardly cleaned once or twice during the day. For most part of the day, these toilets are filthy and unhygienic and even have no toilet tissues and soap. Hundreds of taxi drivers use these facilities per hour, but still on paper these toilets are being cleaned 3 times a day, and practically, hardly been cleaned one time per day properly.
We, the Sydney taxi drivers demand proper and frequent cleaning of toilet facilities at taxi holding bays at both international and domestic airports. These toilets should be cleaned after every one to two hours and a supervisor must be assigned to regularly oversee the job done by cleaners.
This matter has been raised several times before with Sydney airport authorities, but no attention has been paid to it. We demand a prompt action to be taken about this very important issue, and suggest that instead of paying for security with dogs at taxi holding bays, more cleaners should be hired and paid to clean the toilets at holding bays more frequently during the day.
