The purpose of this petition is to drive change with regard to businesses that offer sweepstakes, games, slot machines, and other similar games. Establishments as such were deemed illegal under the North Carolina Supreme Court in February 2022 and require enforcement. As long as establishments like these persist, Harnett county will still continue to face problems with economic growth, prosperity, and creating an overall safe environment.
