Foreign, International students educational reconsideration amidst COVID19 SWE
Since December 2019, the Corona Virus is causing a burden economically in the world. Not to mention the financial situation amongst working-class but students who needed to finance themselves doing part-time or freelance jobs face a crucial situation. Life is becoming more distressing not only to students but also to everyone in society. However, it is to be noted that students are the one who is hurt in this situation the most considering such as material and mental distractions:
- the burden to finish their education on time
- whether students get the quality and quality promised when applied to the education
- semester fee reduction due to a decrease in education regarding quantity and quality
- the stable income if the funding is affected by the COVID19
- visa application renewal and postponement
- housing fee exemption or reduction if they are returned home in accordance with government regulations
Life here became distressing not only for students also for everyone in society. Classes in the universities for students became tardy and it is going more blunt day by day. The online classes done in a relatively short time period do not meet the quality and quantity promised and shall not be equalized as contact lessons, therefore semester fees to reach education promised to the foreign students and international students when applying to the program shall be reduced thereof.
The world is facing an unprecedented financial crisis during the COVID19. Businesses, job affairs, daily lives, social correspondences are on extreme anxiousness and ambiguity. Therefore, the request to the authority to help us cope with this situation by at least reconsidering and measuring the outcome of the concerns listed above and let us stay more strong and safer.
For us this is a time to prove as one community to achieve the most suitable outcome for us all.
