Hej,

As you may already know India is a big country with different states, languages, cultures and traditions.

Current state: For getting a visa stamped, to take a visa photo or to give interviews for D-visa, uppehålls och arbetstillstånd etc.. one has to travel from far off places to New Delhi. For a lot of people, this is an issue especially in cases where one needs to bring their parents, wife on a longer stay visa travelling to New Delhi is very arduous.

Expected State: To open a consulate with Biometrics and visa issuing capability in Bangalore-Karnataka-India.

Bangalore is The most diverse and a cosmopolitan city in India also known as the IT capital and bears the feather as the silicon valley of south-east asia. Since a major part of indian export is IT in today's world, most of the visa applicants are either in Bangalore already or definitely transits frequently. Given this. also Bangalore is a great choice since it is the geographic central node point for the whole of south India.

Benefits: Apart from the easing the process for the migrationsverket officials, this will also ensure that there will be easy scheduling with short notice to applicants in case of extra information needed, reduction in carbon foot print for the environment in people travelling long distances, Better access to information in english and other indian national languages, reduce the longer queue times and also reduce considerable workload in New Delhi etc. It would be a tremendous advancement in visa Turnover and reduction in operating costs for you and will also help the indian public in general.

Kindly consider our petition and hoping for a positive answer.
