Withdraw the building cluster and protect our countryside

The beautiful open countryside location of Woodseaves and Tyrley in North Shropshire is under serious threat by recent decisions made by Sutton upon Tern Parish Council.
Unless we can persuade the Parish Council to drop the proposed Community Cluster they have nominated, our tranquil locality will no longer be protected by current planning policies and will lose its open countryside status – this will mean housing development will be allowed on our doorsteps, changing the character of where we live. Woodseaves and Tyrley are inappropriate locations to encourage housing development - there are no daily amenities, no shops, no school and no public transport. An effective and fair 'Single Site Exception Scheme' already exists to enable local people to build an affordable home.
The Parish Council's plans will not benefit the local community - they will only benefit the land owners and developers who want to build on the fields and open spaces.
Please sign the petition - our rural areas need saving now for future generations.
